        &= nbsp;   In the last period of his life, Prof. Navarro, with his IFeN co-workers, had f= elt the need of exploring more completely the energetic aspect (orgonic accordi= ng to Reich).

        &= nbsp;   In these terms, the publication of Federico’s last book “Clinic Or= gonomy” makes sense.

        &= nbsp;   Moreover, Navarro had felt the need of investigating, within the methodology of the c= haracter analytic vegeto-therapy the theme of the “intrauterine experienceR= 21; on stable clinical and physiological basis. Every vegeto-therapist, every orgnonomist who uses this methodology knows that the first actings are rela= ted to the patient’s “intrauterine experience“. Nevertheless, it’s difficult to check the real effectiveness of these actings becau= se, since they are related to an experience of which the patients has no memory= and are not related to muscular activity, they do not produce any significant abreactions. Generally a sensation of a pleasant relaxation or of a strong discomfort may happen.

        &= nbsp;   Regarding these two issues, i.e. the development and the comprehension as well as the= use of inner energy, and as a complement of methodology, and the development of some actings related to embryonic and fetal period, Federico, with his IFeN= co-workers, had developed a research which some scientists from IFeN have been working = out.

        &= nbsp;   Before going ahead, we remember that IFeN has developed a methodology based on use= of energetic diagnostic. This methodology allows to have several more successf= ul checking and constant monitoring instruments during the therapy. They integ= rate and collaborate with therapist’s job.

        &= nbsp;   We refer to reading the systematization published on our web-site, www.IFeN.net, in which the main instrumen= tal diagnostic methods are shown, such as EDTP (energetic diagnosis of terminal points), diagnostic energetic balance, psycho-earing test, vegetative balan= ce test. This introduction allow us to make some preliminary remarks in order to arg= ue scientifically what IFeN has developed and has been still developing .=

Preliminary Remarks.

 

        &= nbsp;   Every acting of the Character analytic vegeto-therapy, except those ones related = to the intrauterine period, must be acted out with open eyes. Light activates = the ciliary muscle, whose function is to modify the curvature of the crystalline lens, determining the focal length.

        &= nbsp;   A new photoreceptor has been discovered. It regulates the biological effects = (not visual) of light on body. The new photoreceptor seems to be completely = independent from those ones involved in sight. It belongs to a third group of retinal p= hotoreceptors called Rgcs (retinal ganglion cells) which are very sensitive to light such= as retinal cone and rods.     &nbs= p; These cells are connected with suprachiasmatic nucleus, detected from time as a central clock of brain, i.e. the place where the cycle night-day is regulat= ed. This nucleus (as shown by Berson’s work) related to the retinal photorecep= tors called retinal ganglion cells coordinates the regulation of night/day cycle= . Furthermore, a new substance, the melanopsin within the Rgcs cells has been discovered to play an important role in the night/day rhythm.

        &= nbsp;   In 2003 a group of Anglo-american scientists had published on “Science&#= 8221; several interesting works. They believe that deleting the gene of melanopsin (so its production in the retina) provokes a defect of pupillary reflex to = the light due to a lack of sensitivity of the retinal Rgcs cells. At the same t= ime a defect of circadian function is produced and an alteration of night/day rhythm occurs. These data attest the presence of a new retinal function with distinct and separated properties from those ones of retinal cone and rods, without any involvement with imagine formation.

        &= nbsp;   An hypothesis is that in mammals the suprachiasmatic nucleus starts working si= nce fetal life.

        &= nbsp;   Indeed, there’s a unidirectional communication system between the biological clocks of mother and fetus. As soon as a biological clock starts dangling in fetal CNS, circadian cues from mother synchronize fetal clock to light/dark phase.

        &= nbsp;   The importance of light as external stimulus able to influence the biological c= lock is due to the fact that the master oscillator is located in the suprachiasm= atic nucleus in the Hypothalamus. This nucleus gets light cues by hypothalamic t= ract and connects it below to the optic tract. These cues arrive to the Hypothal= amus and modulate the Cortisol and Melatonin release. Cortisol and Melatonin rhy= thms are tightly related to the sleep/wake rhythm. ACTH and Cortisol circadian rhythm depends on CRH ( corticotrophin releasing hormone) circadian rhythm generated by hypothalamic suprachiasmatic nucleus.

        &= nbsp;   This nucleus of the anterior Hypothalamus is stimulated by light/dark rhythm transmitted by retinal zones not related to the direct vision through a dir= ect retinal-hypothalamic projection.

        &= nbsp;   According to what we have written, it is possible to say that fetus and may be embryo= are sensitive to light variations and these variations induce to learn a biolog= ical rhythm that is not only a sleep/wake rhythm but more generally a biorhythm,= as highlighted by a French research, leaded by Prof. Paolo Sassone-Corsi from University of California.

        &= nbsp;   We believe that the sensitivity to the light in embryonic and fetal life ( i.e before ocular/visual function maturates) needs to be understood as a suprac= hiasmatic sensitivity to biophotons and particularly to those ones shed by ematic activity in the mother/fetus relationship through placenta and umbilical co= rd.

        &= nbsp;   Indeed: “during embryonic development retinal gangliar cells give axons which form the optical nerves. They grow towards the Hypothalamus where they turn= to the neuroepithelia in the middle-posterior direction. So, the axons from two ey= es meet up each other on the  mid= dle line, in a ventral region just in front of the Hypophisis. The retinal axon= s, coming into this region, get in touch with a population of specialized neur= ons, responsible of decussation. In this way, the retinal axons from two eyes fo= rm the optic chiasm“ ( D.Vigiano, R.Russo, C Passatore – Human Ana= tomy. Università di Caserta).

        &= nbsp;   Recent studies show that suprachiasmatic nucleus is solely sensitive to blue light, and that such light frequency has specific receptors able to determine the rhythms (biological and circadian) by releasing melanopsin, independently f= rom visual function.

        &= nbsp;   The recent experimental work of Prof. Vadimir Leonidovich Voeikof – Profe= ssor of biochemistry at Univer= sity of Moscow and direc= tor of the unicity biochemical systems  Laboratory -  helps us out. He claims that human body and all its cells shed a light energy, which is capable to help other cells in trouble.

        &= nbsp;   Voeikof says: “Light is at the root of living structures and among all these structures we have examined human blood. We have discovered that it is made= up of a very strong light field, that human eye is not able to feel, and that blood luminosity allow us to detect diagnostic data for each single individ= ual.”

        &= nbsp;   It has been ascertained that light produced by a healthy human blood is rather intense, whereas in a sick person this characteristic seems to taper and al= so the flow shows intermittence and anomalies. Testing two blood samples ̵= 1; separated only by a slide but close to each other: one was health and the o= ther one was infected by bacteria – it has been detected that light flows = from healthy blood “helps out” sick blood in the adjacent test tube,= by transferring energy.

        &= nbsp;   Voeikof’s experiment has confirmed Pier Luigi Ighina’s theory. The latter was a= Guglielmo Marconi co-worker. Discovering the magnetic atom about 70 years ago, he has= ascertained that a healthy body shed specific vibrations. If we put a healthy body clos= e to another one, light fields shed by atoms of the healthy body wrap up the magnetic field ( bioradiation, aura) of the latter one, functioning as R= 20; donors of energy”.

        &= nbsp;   Voeikof argues that the influence of the environmental and psyco-emotional status on cells is definitely shown, underlining: “man is made up of organs, wh= ich belong to global unit, including mind”.

        &= nbsp;   According to Voeikof the mistake of molecular genetists consist of considering DNA and genes as some stable and fixed structures. The reality of a situation is th= at they may move and vibrate, behaving like every single part of our body in a perpetual pulsation and light motion (this seems to be coherent with what it has been hypothesized by superstrings theory in the field of biophysics).

        &= nbsp;   “Every living organism shed a weak but permanent light flow, whose intensity range= goes from visible light to ultraviolet light. Biophotons emission is related to = all physiological functions.

        &= nbsp;   Biophotons are light particles, leading informations, with the same characteristic of = laser light. According to the biophysicist Prof. Fritz Albert Popp, they regulate= growth and regeneration of cells and control all biochemical processes.=

        &= nbsp;   The Russian biologist Gurwitsch, in the 1922, was the first person to theorize = the presence of photons, shed by living organisms (biophotons). He believes that those photons ought to belong to ultraviolet wavelength.<= /p>

        &= nbsp;   In Italy the biologist Protti made several important and original studies on b= lood and cancer tissues, discovering that biophotons emission was directly propo= rtionate to vitality of person and that in case of leukaemia blood had very low biophotons emission  and  that oncolytic power of blood ( i.= e. to fight cancer cell ) was proportionate to the number of shed biophotons.

        &= nbsp;   The introduction in the nuclear physics of a photomultiplier tube, a new and ve= ry sensitive to the light detector, has allowed the first rigorous and experim= ental confirmation thanks to an Italian physicist Prof. Facchini from University of Milan. In this direction the origi= nal work of Morpurgo is hooked up, showing that, through a luminometer built by= Dr. Motolese, even the most simple living organism such as a bacteria may shed biophotons and that there was a tight relationship between cellular duplica= tion and biophotons emission, confirming a pivotal role of DNA in this emissive phenomenon.

        &= nbsp;   Today, biophotons are a theme of different research all over the world. In USA it = has been shown that cutaneous points corresponding to acupunctural points shed more biophotons than any other part of skin”. IFeN Metho= dology

 

        &= nbsp;   IFeN has developed a work with Prof. Navarro, on the basis of this recent scient= ific knowledge, in order, on the one hand, to widen the Character analytic  vegeto-therapy and more specifical= ly the work on the intrauterine period and, on the other hand, to set an energetic diagnostics, which integrates and completes the methodology on an unbiased level.

        &= nbsp;   The further development of our work, as agreed with Federico Navarro, will be trying to increase the available energy inside the relation in persons with psychotic nucleus.

 = ;

New acting= s for intrauterine period.

 

        &= nbsp;   We have thought and developed an instrument suitable for blue light administra= tion in Character analytic vegeto-therapy. We have chosen to use blue LEDs becau= se they have the characteristic of shedding a monochromatic light, and this me= ans that, chosen a desired colour, a LED will shed a light with a such specific= hue and chromatic frequency.

        &= nbsp;   We have chosen to give blue light in a pulsating manner, respecting pulsation concept expressed by Reich concerning the orgonic pulsation. We can summari= ze this concept: “Pulsation: rhythmical alternation of expansion and contraction. Every organ vibrates with its own frequency and works, simultaneously, for itself and for all organism.            Duri= ng the orgastic discharge the whole organism vibrate in a synchronous way̶= 1;. ( see Reich experiments in orgonic chamber ).

        &= nbsp;   We put two blue LEDs, fit on sliding arms, in front of patient with his eyes closed at a middle focal distance for human eye of 25 cm. The two LEDs vibr= ate continuously and softly because of a dimmer and a timer, which enable to determine the frequency and pulsation mode.

        &= nbsp;   At the IFeN we have been trying to understand whether the frequency must be related to heartbeats (about 60 per minute) or respiratory frequency (12 per minute). We will be able to answer this question at the end of our work. Th= at instrument can be used through alternating and dimming switch (fade up/fade down effect ) of two LEDs, sending out light stimuli to the left and right = eye alternatively. Even in this case it’s possible to determine the pulsa= ting rhythm.

        &= nbsp;   “In synchrony with circadian rhythm many phenomena that happen in the organism = such as circadian rhythm, hormonal secretions, blood pressure, renal excretion a= re regulated. In general, vital parameters tend to taper during the day, reach= ing the lowest values between 1 and 3 a.m.

        &= nbsp;   It is significant that a vitality peak corresponds to a positive peak of melat= onin production, that corresponds to REM sleep phase.

Considerin= g what we have written, we can draw the following conclusions:

1)     Working on eye without light, in the Character analytic vegeto-therapy, means working with minimal vitality conditions.

2)     Working without light means working with the most intuitive and less conscious aspects.

3)     The duration of several ocular actings up to 25 minutes is justified by the imitation of middle duration of REM phase, therefore because of the duration we may notice the intuitive valuation of experience, such as Federico Navarro taught us.

4)     Working with a light for a variable time between 15 and 20 minutes let us integrate the deep unconscious intuitive experience w= ith “here and now” and the conscience.
